Adjust your headrest
The headrest is not actually a ‘rest’,
it is a restraint for the back of your head.
Not adjusted properly or removed, you could, for example if suddenly shunted
from behind, risk whiplash or even worse, a broken neck. It is quite easy to adjust properly. Simply check that it is level with the top of
your ears and as close to the back of your head as possible – basically so you
hit the back of your head and not your neck.
Check your car’s manual for detailed information about adjusting the
headrest.
